On Friday, November 3rd and Saturday, November 4th, during the University Festival (Mahosai), the English Department displayed several colorful and creative panels in building 9 about the "New STAYS Program," as well as information about our recent TOEIC and job-hunting successes. Students from the 1st, 3rd and 4th years set up, manned, and took down the display, with the 3rd-year students planning and organizing the entire project. As a 3rd-year tutor, I was very impressed by the students' leadership skills, their hard work, and their bright and cheerful attitudes. Many guests from the campus community and beyond visited us and learned about everyday life in Pittsburgh, Davis, and Vancouver. More importantly, visitors could see firsthand just how wonderful Yasuda students are--particularly our fantastic English department students! Great work, everyone!
