Everyone enjoyed this year's Orientation Seminar on Mount Sanbe in Shimane prefecture. This year's theme was: Enjoy a Challenge! Specifically, during the seminar we cooked curry and rice outdoors, talked in English, and played English language games in groups. The 英語劇 (English play) based on 'Frozen' was particularly entertaining to watch. We also held group discussions about studying abroad and developing good study skills and learning habits. In addition, the candle ceremony was very moving, and the dancing time was a big hit. Thanks to the exciting activities prepared by the committee members, group leaders and sub-leaders (second-year and third-year students), the first-year students were able to relax, communicate, and make new friends.
