12月1日、国際観光ビジネス学科の授業、日本の伝統文化である「生け花」をテーマに、実際に体験しながら学ぶ授業が行われました。

This class is conducted ONLY in English, except for some professional lecturers such as Noh, Ikebana, and the tea ceremony. They actually allow the students to experience how difficult the performances are, but they always find something fun, and are inspired to learn more for their life, especially for the five-month study abroad program "HIBISCUS". They always conduct some research, and do a "Show & Tell", similar to a short presentation, every class. We Japanese really need to do more "OUTPUT" (speaking out), not just "INPUT" (learning and memorizing). The final test is a presentation in English using their own power point slides in English. They seem to enjoy this kind of study, exercise, and presentation.
