30 students in the International Tourism and Business department took part
in the summer seminar on Miyajima island on a sunny September 13th. The
students seemed nervous at first, but soon relaxed and enjoyed talking with
the many friendly international tourists they met on the island. Students
said it was difficult to speak English as well as they wanted to, but they
enjoyed sightseeing on the beautiful island and meeting so many kind
people. Almost all of the students reported that they definitely want to
participate in another communication focused tourism event like this in the
future.
