1月になり、留学期間も残り1か月を切りました。冬休みも終わり、CCPプログラムが始まりました。冬休みは、卒業論文を頑張り、サンフランシスコやラスベガス、ロサンゼルスに旅行に行きました。グランドキャニオンを見たり、ディズニーアドベンチャーに行ったり、そこでしかできないことをたくさん経験することができました。

　

It's now January, and there`s less than a month left in my study abroad program. Winter vacation is over and the CCP program has begun. During the winter vacation, I worked hard on my graduation thesis and went on trips to San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. I was able to experience many things that I could only do there, such as seeing the Grand Canyon and going to Disney California Adventure Park.

また大学院での研究に向けて、UC Davisの大学院生で小学校の先生を目指すEveさんとCathyさんにお話を伺いました。お2人の先生を志すようになったきっかけや、先生になるために行っていることなど貴重なお話を聞くことができました。残り少ないですが、修士論文の執筆に向けて、引き続き取り組んでいきます。

　

In addition, Mizuki and I are starting our master's research. Together, we spoke with Eve and Cathy, who aim to become elementary school teachers. We listened to their precious stories about why they want to be teachers and what they are doing to achieve their goal.　We only have little time, but we keep going on work to write master thesis.　(Davis 増岡由真)
