デイヴィスはだんだん寒くなり、冬が訪れました。私は今、AETというプログラムに参加しており、全10週間あるプログラムももうすぐ終わりを迎えます。(12月１日執筆)AETプログラムでは安田女子大学の学生だけでなく、他の日本の大学の学生や中国人の学生計16名のクラスメイトと一緒に学習しています。授業は4種類あり、毎日同じ時間割で、SDGs、ライティング、文化、リーディングなど様々な分野を学んでいます。毎日13時に学校が終わるので、その後はそれぞれ自由に過ごしています。私は学校に残って友達と課題をしたり、編み物サークルに行ったり、SA (Student Assistant) が計画してくれるアクティビティに参加したりして過ごしています。この前は、SA主催のサンクスギビングパーティーに参加し、美味しいご飯を楽しみました。

Davis has been getting colder recently, and winter is on its way. I am currently participating in a ten-week program called AET, and the program is approaching its end. (This article was written on December 1st.) In this program, I study with sixteen classmates, including students not only from Yasuda Women's University but also from other universities in Japan and China. We take four classes following the same schedule every day, and we learn a variety of subjects such as essay writing, American culture, the SDGs, and reading. Since our classes finish at 1 p.m., we can spend the afternoon doing whatever we like. I often stay at school to work on my assignments with friends, join the fiber art club, or take part in activities planned by the SAs (Student Assistants). Recently, I joined an SA-hosted Thanksgiving party. I had a great time and enjoyed a delicious meal.

休日には足を延ばしてサンフランシスコまで旅行に行きました。世界遺産のヨセミテ国立公園を観光するツアーに参加し、大きな岩山や滝、ジャイアントセコイアなどを見て回りました。目の前に広がる雄大な自然に圧倒される、素晴らしい経験でした。(桑原可奈, Davis)

Over the weekend, I took a short trip to San Francisco. I joined a tour to visit Yosemite National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the tour, I saw enormous rock formations, beautiful waterfalls, and giant sequoias. The breathtaking scenery and the power of nature left a deep impression on me. It was truly an unforgettable experience.
