Report on Classes with High School Students (2019高大連携)
2019.08.19
On August 7th, we had three classes with 33 energetic and hard-working Hiroshima-area high school students. They were so excited and positive, and we all had a great time using English together!
In John's classes, students learned about--and then practiced--the various skills needed for translation, using materials such as children's stories.
In Taras' classes, students learned about the history of "fast food" in America, as well as the life of Walt Disney.
At the end of the course, we took a few photographs, which you can see on this page (with the students' permission). It was a big success and we hope to see all of the students again!
