Davisに来て２ヵ月が経ち、もうすぐこの留学プログラムも折り返しです。徐々にここでの生活にも慣れてきましたが、今でも初めての体験と学びの連続で刺激の多い毎日です。
　

現在私たちはホームステイをしており、学外でも英語に触れることのできる環境で過ごしています。今回はホストファミリーとの生活を中心にお話します。
私のホストファミリーは4人家族で、これまでに何人も留学生を受け入れているようです。
この留学期間中に私の誕生日があり、ホストファミリーがお祝いしてくれました。前日の夜、私が部屋に戻った後に誕生日パーティーの準備をしてくれていたようです。ホストファミリーが応援しているサクラメントキングス（バスケットボールチーム）のトレーナーと手紙をプレゼントしてもらいました。人の温かさに触れることができました。

　

また、ハロウィンに合わせてカボチャにペインティングをしました。全員それぞれテーマやキャラクターが違っており面白かったです。こちらの人は褒め上手な人が多いと以前から感じていたのですが、この時もお互い褒め合っており文化の違いを実感しました。

　

毎日があっという間に過ぎてしまうことに少し焦りを感じていますが、英語力向上と教育についての知識を深めるためにも日々を大切に過ごしていこうと思います。（伊藤美月，Davis）

　

It has been two months since I arrived in Davis. Our study abroad program is almost half over. I am gradually getting used to life here, but even now, I am still experiencing and new things for the first time every day. 

　

We live with a host family and spend time in an environment that allows us to be exposed to English outside of the campus. In this article, I will focus on my life with my host family.
My host family has 4 members. They have hosted a number of international students so far. 
During this study abroad program, I celebrated my birthday with my host family. They prepared the birthday party at night after I returned to my room. a Sacramento Kings sweater and a letter. This gesture showed the kindness and warmth of people in the U.S.

　

Also, we painted pumpkins for Halloween. It was interesting because they all had different themes and characters. I have always felt that many people are good at giving compliments, and we were praising each other, which made me realize how different our cultures are.

　

I feel a little pressed for with how quickly each day is flying by, but I will make the most of each day to improve my English and further my education.

　

誕生日をお祝いしてもらいました。リビングだけでなく私の部屋のドアも飾り付けをしてくれていました。

　

家族全員でカボチャにペイントをしました。今も玄関に飾ってあります。
