Objectives

“All-round education” is the basic idea of the Department of Pharmacy, and various programs to enrich our students holistically, such as classes for understanding patients' psychology or improving business etiquette and manners, are offered in addition to those in the academic field of pharmacy. This department, which attaches importance to cultivating communication skills as well as specialist knowledge of pharmacy, focuses upon learning about healthcare through teamwork and practical experience.

Foundational subjects, such as physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics, are reinforced so that students efficiently acquire advanced professional knowledge and technical skills. Students can learn about the effects of medicines on the human body comprehensively, with a deep understanding not only of diseases but also of the structure and function of the human body.
