This course focuses on deepening students’ expertise in responding to the developmental characteristics of infants and young children, exploring the stages that mark the beginning of life and form the foundation of human development through both theory and practice.
After acquiring a solid grounding in the fundamentals of early childhood education and care, students explore how children grow and develop from multiple perspectives, including neuroscience, pediatrics, and anthropology.
They also learn how to design and evaluate effective educational environments that support children's development in a holistic and evidence-based manner.
