Time flies. I can't believe that November passed, and that December has already come. In September, just adjusting myself to life in Vancouver involved the learning of so many "how-to" things. For instance, how to take public transportation, how to take a shower at home, how to order a meal at a restaurant, how to shop at various shops, and so on. However, I'm getting used to living here little by little now. It is largely thanks to people around me. Many international students and I have been puzzled at the differences between our cultures and Canadian culture. It's hard for us to describe how perplexed we were at first. However, we have been able to solve these problems by cooperating with others even if our English skills are not good enough.

Local people are very friendly. Vancouver has people of various nationalities, so they are considerate in communicating with each other. I respect their cultures and ways of thinking. I would like to be like them while I stay here. I will make a push to be more talkative and lively than now. Moreover, I will enjoy anything for the rest of my stay here.
