Davi-chan, from Guinea, came to Yasuda to do a special class with grade 4 students. They learned about Guinea's way of life and culture in the first session, and even spoke some Susu language! Then in the second session, Davi-chan played the djembe, a traditional drum from Guinea. The students made maracas out of PET bottles and did some rhythm play with Davi-chan. Then, a few students got on the stage and tried playing the djembe.

It was a fun and interesting lesson! Students enjoyed spending time with Davi-chan, and even asked for his signature afterwards. Davi-chan joined us for lunch and had his first ever Japanese school lunch!

ギニアのダビちゃんが安田小学校に来て、4年生と特別な授業を行いました。2時間目にギニアの生活や文化について勉強し、スス語というギニアの言葉で会話をしてみました。そして、3時間目にダビちゃんがジェンベという伝統的なギニアのドラムを弾きました。4年生がペットボトルでできたマラカスを使って、ダビちゃんとリズム遊びをしました。最後に数人の児童がステージに上がり、ジェンベを弾いてみました。

とても楽しくて面白いレッスンでした！ダビちゃんとの時間を楽しんで、その後はサインをもらいました。ダビちゃんが初めての給食を食べました！
