Grade 4 Guinea Experience
Grade 4 students were visited by David Sylla, from Guinea in Africa and his wife, Yoko-san. Students had a lot of fun learning about Guinean culture and speaking the Guinean language "Susu". They also watched a traditional drum music performance by Davi-chan and Yoko-san and played along using maracas they had made. Although the experience was in Japanese, the students learned about the importance of language as a key to open up new doors in life and expand their horizons.
