udents expect their English teachers to like English. But for this event, students got a chance to hear about 6 other Yasuda teachers who have experience with learning and using English. The guest teachers' talks were interesting and fun, but also hopefully got students to think more about why we study English at Yasuda and how it can help them in the future.

「なぜ私は英語が好きなのか」　多くの児童は英語を学習していても、日常的に使うことがあまりないと感じているかもしれません。周りの大人はどうやって英語を好きになり、どう使っているのでしょうか。どんな時に「英語ができて良かったな」と実感したのでしょうか。今回、英語科以外の先生が自分と外国との関りや、英語をどう使っているかを教えてくれました。今日の授業を通して、児童は自分のなりたい姿が少し見えてきたようです。
