This year, G6 students practiced reading picture books in English, and then read them to G1 and G2 students. The G1 and G2 students listened to 5 different books at stations around the media center during the event. The G1 and G2 students said that it was fun, and they were impressed by the G6 students' clear English. It was a great start to Hello Week.
G6 students will present their books again at the speech contest this and next week. Do you like reading English picture books? Let's get reading!

　6年生は今年初めてのイベント、「リーディングフェスティバル」をしました。英語の絵本の読み聞かせに挑戦です。聞いてくれたのは１、2年生で、メディアセンターの周りにある５つのステーションを廻り、5冊の本を楽しみました。１・２年生からはとても楽しかった、もっと聞きたかったなどの声が出てきました。ハローウィークのスタートにぴったりのイベントでした。
　６年生は今週またスピーチコンテストのクラス大会で絵本の文を暗唱します。みなさんは英語の絵本を読むことが好きですか。たくさん読みましょう！
