Mr. Matson's family visited Yasuda and attended a Grade 6 English class. The students asked his mother and sister questions that they thought of and got their answers. For example, they asked "Can you say something in Japanese?" and "What's a special memory for you?" It was a fun time for both the students and Mr. Matson's family. At the end of class, Mr. Matson's mother shared some pictures of him from when he was a child.

　マトソン先生のご家族が6年生の授業に参加されました。児童たちは考えておいた質問をして、その答えにいろんなリアクションをしていました。「何か日本語の言葉をしゃべれますか。」「今までの人生で特別な思い出はありますか。」など、楽しいやりとりでした。最後にマトソン先生の子どもの頃の写真も見せてもらいました。
