Casablanca Bridal & Formals

I went to Casablanca Bridal & Formals to do Internship every Saturday. I wanted to do it since I stayed in Japan, so I'm so happy to challenge it.
I think bridal is the most important event in people's life. When they hold a wedding, they are very happy. The workers help and make them happier. I was fascinated because I was interested in customer service. Casablanca has many Japanese customers so I think I can learn not only customer service, but also tourism. That's why I chose Casablanca.
My tasks are to assist brides, to display mannequins, to put away dresses and collect customer's documents. I enjoy discovering customers` trends and find difference between America and Japan. For example, when many customers held weddings, I could find out which style is preferred by local people or Japanese people.
In addition, Casablanca's workers are so kind. I understood why they can make customers happy. They are always smiling and proud of their jobs. That's why I respect the workers. They often tell us about wedding, culture of Hawaii and importance of customer service as well. It's fun for me and a good opportunity to know many things here.
Next week we have a wedding expo. It' s one of big events of Casablanca. I'll help customers wear dresses and I can have a chance to communicate with customers. I want to try to speak English positively even if I don't have enough confidence to do so at this moment, but I think it's important for me to challenge and make efforts. I want to try anything and learn a lot. It'll help me think about my future. I'll do my best every time.

私は毎週土曜日に、カサブランカ・ブライダル＆フォーマルズでの就業体験に行っている。これは日本にいる時から希望していたことだったので、挑戦できていることに幸せを感じている。
結婚というのは人生において最も重要なイベントだと思っている。結婚式を挙げる時、人々は幸せを感じているはずだ。その際に、さらなる幸せのお手伝いができるこの職業に魅力を感じた。なぜなら私はもともと接客業に興味があったからだ。また、カサブランカには日本人のお客さんもたくさん来る。そのため接客業だけでなく、観光業についても学べると思った。これらの理由から私はカサブランカをインターシップ先に選んだ。
私の仕事は、新婦さんのお手伝いをしたり、マネキンにドレスを着せて飾ったり、顧客名簿を整理することだ。その時に、お客さんの傾向を知ったり、日本とアメリカでの違いを見つけるのが楽しい。例えば、いつが結婚式を挙げる人が多いのか、どれを日本人や地元の人は好むのか、などである。
さらに、カサブランカの人々はとても親切だ。彼らがお客さんを幸せにできるのは、いつも笑顔を心掛け、自分の仕事に誇りを持っているからだ。私はそんな彼らを尊敬している。また、私たちにウエディングについてやハワイの文化について、接客業においての大切なことを教えてくれる。それは面白く、多くのことを知れるいい機会だと思っている。
来週にはウエディングエクスポが開催される。それはカサブランカにとって大きなイベントの一つである。私はドレスを試着するお客さんのお手伝いをする予定だ。これはお客さんとコミュニケーションを図るいい機会であるため、積極的に話しかけたいと思っている。自信はないが、努力することに意味があると思うので、いろんなことに挑戦し、多くのことを学びたい。なぜならそれが未来の自分を助けると思うからだ。だから私はいつも全力で取り組みたいと思っている。
